Can be quite a long time.

A night well spent.

Musical theater parties are so much fun.

I did an impromptu performance of Nowadays with my cohort Velma Kelly. It was super awesome.
Aaaaaaand now I'm tired.

Also new t-shirt.

No one is going to get this joke. At least it looks cool?

^.^

Life is good at the moment.

Ohai. Did you miss me?

I've been working. At normal-people hours. Having to get up at seven thirty and go to bed at ten thirty is kind of breaking my brain. I'll be back on track sooooooooooooon.

This is totally what my brain is like at the moment though.

Things from the last few days.

Giant christmas baubles that look like bombs in the town square

Amazingly tasty lemonade

Having my sunglasses stolen

Going to the beach for the first time this summer

How you distract me during the weekends.

Don't put your jeans through the dryer twice.

Or you'll end up like me; furiously tugging your suddenly skin-tight jeans on and glaring in frustration at the button.

Yes, I did get them done up without too much difficulty, but this is why I wish I could go a lot longer between laundry loads. I had just got these jeans to optimum level of relaxed as well. I could do high kicks in them!

In which I took more photos of my feet than any sane person probably should

Which resulted in only these two photos being decent enough to warrant internetz posting. Yeah.

I don't have a tri-pod yet so doing photos like these involves a stack of books, and carefully balancing my camera over said stack weighing it back by the strap with my stapler.

I think there's an old tri-pod in the garage, so I definitely need to go trunk-diving to find it.

For now? I'm walking on rainbows, baby!

mraow

The moon was stupidly bright last night. So bright, in fact, that it made shadows through the trees and onto my curtains. Which may or may not have creeped me out.

I blame the episode of Supernatural I had watched featuring a homicidal phantom clown. Damn clown.

Floor photos.

Just another experiment with colour editing and depth of field. Not particularly exciting, but I'm having one of those days where I want to spend the entire day in the shower, not talking to anyone.

I do wish I had more range in terms of the focal depth, but I'm pretty sure that can only be achieved with a higher end camera or a proper DSLR, which obviously I'm not willing to sink the money into. I'm bookmarking a couple of models that accept old Minolta lenses for my mother though, and in another couple of years when I can justify the expense I'd love to get myself a Canon (Don't judge me, every photographer I follow uses one).

Depth of field practise...

Whilst eating delicious cake at lunchtime. Also Cola. And coffee. And pie.

I love pie.

Dear legs.

Do you miss dancing?

You were definitely stronger then, and could lift yourself higher than you can now, and you could dance on the tips of your toes for hours...

But you can still do some pretty cool things nowadays. Like allowing me to walk places, and wear cool shoes. And I like to think you forgive me for all the abuse over the years...

After all, you do practically nothing all day now, and you get to wear these ridiculously awesome fluffy socks.

Sincerely; Me.

Fun with hats and shutter speed.

That's all for today, folks!

Watching me....

This morning, I woke up with a peculiar sensation that I was being watched.

While I was putting on my shoes...

In the car...

And whilst talking with my dad.

It was very stressful. I'm off to bed now. On the plus side?

I think whatever it was is gone now.

This totally counts as yesterdays as well.

I was asleep yesterday. All of yesterday. I enjoy sleeping.
